現在（2022／4）、２階への階段を上がったところに「慶喜公維新の戦跡を弔ふ」という大正 2(1913)年5月18日付の大阪毎日新聞の記事のコピーが貼ってありました。
慶喜が寄ったのは、もちろん現在の寺田屋建物です。この記事をみると慶喜は「当時のまま」のものとして部屋を見分しています。この大正2年の時点では、7代目伊助は死没してますが、幕末当時を知っている妻の”はな”がまだ経営をしています。
